Nichols Farms is partnering with FoodLink of Tulare County again this year to help feed local families this Holiday Season. Due to COVID-19, the need at all distributions has dramatically increased in size, and FoodLink is unable to take food donations due to health and safety precautions.
So this year, make your dollar go farther! With your generous donation of even one dollar, FoodLink can provide 4 meals to families in need.
Nichols Farms has been working with FoodLink for the past 15 years, and we’re so proud to help support FoodLink’s mission of ending food insecurity in Tulare County.
In 2018, we held our largest food drive to date, raising $40,000 and 8,000 cans for FoodLink. (Go Nichols Farms!) This year, our food drive is going to look a little different, and we’re excited to host our first ever Virtual Food Drive!
During usual times, 143,000 children in Tulare County would go hungry without help, but now about 50% of our population is food insecure due to pandemic conditions. A gift this year puts healthy, nutritious food in the hands of our neighbors who need it most: hungry children, seniors, and families in Tulare County.
